City Hush, redux

Toronto's had no snow yet, at least not any that stayed on the ground. None forecast for Christmas, either. So to celebrate the winter solstice, I've pulled this out of my archives and made it my desktop image. Maybe it'll give Mother Nature a nudge, remind her what snow is.

Phoenix had a frost last night. The boys were excited to see actual ice on the car. I think it was the first time Jack had seen it...

It has stopped raining here for the moment, and there is a steady stream coming off the roof at one point, thumbing its nose at the gutters that want to direct the traffic their way. Water you gonna do.

Makes marvelous light sparklies as it falls, dancing with the sun.

Very nice snow picture Lene. Today we had a dusting so your nudge may have helped

It's funny because living in the Chicago area I start dreading winter around September. As a walker, I get tired of the snow drifts and hardened snow pretty quick. Yet this year we haven't had any snow either and I am missing it. I keep looking at the weather forecast hoping to see snow! Love the photo!
