The forecast for the next several days are temps in the mid-30s, with a humidex of around 40 degrees Celcius. For the Americans around us, that means it'll feel like it's a damp 104.

Whoever invented airconditioning should be sainted.

We have the same thing in America but we call it a Heat Index. It's been in the mid-30s C for the last couple of weeks. Humidity of over 60% is pretty much the average as well. What I'm waiting for is the end of the summer when we get to add up how many days over 100F (I guess that's 40C?) we get. I think the record is 69 days.
